Filemaker - An Introduction

The Princeton Macintosh Users' Group presents Jason Fiske of Filemaker, Inc.

Jason will demonstrate the FileMaker platform and how to avoid the common problem of "spreadsheet abuse." Interesting businesses and applications for the program will also be discussed.

Jason will build a FileMaker application that manages data in a multi-user / multi-platform environment, and create an iOS application that connects to it.

Additionally, he will illustrate FileMaker's use of unique iOS capabilities like Photo, GPS,  and Signature Capture directly into a database. Depending on audience interest, he  will also demonstrate using FileMaker with bar-code printing and bar code readers.

Jason will be contributing three copies of Filemaker to the members-only raffle.
