Particularly impressive are his performances of the music of Bach. "You couldn't wish for a better exponent today than the German violinist Christian Tetzlaff, with his Protean ability to take on the character of whatever work he is playing" (The Independent, London).---YSAYE Sonata No. 1 for Unaccompanied Violin in G minor, Op. 27, No. 1---J.S.
