A Song for Congo

Hear jazz ranging from John Coltrane to Elton John when Karrin Allyson, a Grammy award-nominated singer, presents "A Song for Congo" on Thursday, November 14, at 7 p.m.. The concert benefits charities in the Democratic Republic of Congo, including UFAR, founded by Lawrenceville resident Daniel Shungu, which works to eliminate riverblindness as a major public health and socioeconomic problem (www.riverblindness.org).  The concert also benefits Woman, Cradle of Abundance,  which works to empower women and girls to eradicate systemic poverty and violence (www.womancradleofabundance.org).

Refreshments will be served. Tickets are $60, $30 for students, and $250 for sponsors. Enjoy the heart, intelligence, and warmth of an intimate concert at a private Princeton clubhouse.  Reserve your spot at
