If you would like to receive “back door” refuse collection, you have three options:

  • continue with your current private hauler
  • find a private hauler, exclusive of the municipal contract
  • contract directly with Central Jersey Waste for an additional fee.

Trash must be placed curbside after 6 p.m. the night before collection or before 6 a.m. the day of collection.

Residents must provide their own lidded containers. You are allowed a maximum of four 32 gallon capacity containers which weigh no more than 50 pounds when full. Bags will not be collected. Empty containers must be removed from the curb by midnight after collection.

There is a limit of two large bulky items per week in addition to normal trash, ex: mattress, box spring, couch, desk, chair. Mattresses and box springs must be wrapped in plastic.

What will NOT be collected in the weekly pickup:

  • Recyclables
  • Building materials
  • Computer monitors
  • Leaves, brush / yard debris
  • Broken concrete
  • Televisions
  • Construction debris
  • Ashes
  • Automotive parts
  • White goods (washers, dryers, refrigerators, etc.)
  • Tires
  • Fences

  • Date
  • Time left at curb
