Cops: Good Samaritan Hit By One Drunk Driver As He Comes To Aid Of Another

A Paramus man was critically injured Friday night when he was struck by a drunk driver after stopping to aid a second drunk driver who had crashed her car into a pole, authorities said.

Overall crime in New Jersey rose 3 percent from 2010 to 2011, but violent crimes remained the same, according to New Jersey Attorney General Jeffrey Chiesa.
