D&R Greenway Land Trust has rescheduled the presentation and book-signing by author David P. Harper, on “Roadside Geology of New Jersey.” This lively book is a region-by-region journey into New Jersey history -- as told by its rocks and sediments.
The program will now take place Thursday, March 13, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. A light reception will precede the author’s slide-enhanced talk. This event is free, but call 609-924-4646 or rsvp@drgreenway.org to register.
Even those who have devoured every nature guide to New Jersey will expand their knowledge on page after page of this new book, including learning the origin and composition of specific soils which give us New Jersey’s slogan- “The Garden State.”
