Urban Outfitters Opens Thursday in Princeton

Ten percent of all Princeton sales through Saturday will be donated to WPRB, a non-profit radio station run by Princeton University students.

 

Urban Outfitters opens today, Thursday, at 42 Nassau Street in Princeton. 

To celebrate their Princeton opening, the company has announced it will donate 10 percent of Princeton sales Thursday through Saturday to WPRB, a non-profit radio station run by Princeton University students.

Urban Outfitters sells clothing, accessories and housewares for the young and hip. It will occupy more than 10,000 of shopping space the first and second floors of the building. 

“Architectural features are the base of the store’s design,” said Joe Kenny, Urban Outfitters' store design manager. “We exposed existing plaster walls with tons of character and an amazing terra cotta ceiling structure throughout the space.”

Urban Outfitters was founded in 1970 in a small space across the street from the University of Pennsylvania. The company now has more than 200 stores in the U.S., Canada and Europe.
