Tuesday

7th Annual Mid-Summer Marketing Showcase is an annual event where you can sample delicious food, dance and have fun while learning about Princeton-area businesses and organizations. Located in Hinds Plaza, next to the Princeton Public Library, 4:30-7:30 p.m., Free


Wednesday/Thursday

Enjoy the Princeton Student Film and Video Festival during two nights at the Princeton Public Library. See original short films, created by filmmakers ages 14-25. Filmmakers are invited for Q&A sessions after the screenings, which are for teen and adult audiences. Community Room, 7-9 p.m, Free. 

Thursday

Dinoman Dinosaurs! is a high-energy, educational show that takes children ages 5 and older on a trip through the Mesozoic Era. Using inflatable, life-size dinosaurs and more, Dinoman answers questions about dinosaurs, leaving audiences with a  appreciation of the distant past, Princeton Public Library Community Room, 11 a.m., Free. 


Thursday

Enjoy a free concert concert series in the courtyard of the Princeton Shopping Center. This week features Alex & the Kaleidoscope Band, which creates contagious rhythms and lyrics for children, Princeton Shopping Center, 6-8 p.m., Free.

Thursday 

A special Princeton Planning Board meeting is scheduled to discuss AvalonBay's proposal to raze the former hospital building and build a new residential development, which will include affordable housing units, 400 Witherspoon Street, 7:30 p.m.
