What Would You Improve in Princeton in 2013?

If you could make a New Year's resolution for Princeton, what would it be?

More than 45 percent of Americans make a resolution every year, according to statisticbrain.com. Some people vow to live a healthier lifestyle, others promise to spend more time with family, and many say they will try to save money.

As millions of Americans make resolutions to improve their lives, what could we do right here in Princeton to make it an even better place to live?

What is on your Princeton wish list? What is one thing you would improve in 2013?

Ban semi-automatic guns and high capacity ammo magazines. Enact Medicare for all so we can get help to the mentally ill people who currently have easy access to powerful weapons. Will that ever happen? Not in this country because there are too many ignorant, selfish yahoos who want to gut all social services and who seem to want wall to wall guns all day all night 24/7 365 days a year into eternity. Surely God conceals and carries, he has an ankle holster, too.

I'd like to see the enforcement of the "No texting while driving" law. There are too many folks getting injured and/or killed by texters. I see them wandering over yellow lines daily, coming right at my vehicle. They seem to be in abundance in Princeton. Also, in our neighborhood, there are folks who NEVER stop at the stop sign in front of our house. They run thru it repeatedly on a daily basis. I live right behind JW Middle School. Where is the safety for the children?
