UPDATED: What Roads are Closed in Princeton This Week?

With so many road closures in town this week, here's a handy guide to projects around town.

Tis the time of year for various road projects in town. Here's an easy guide to what's closed around town this week:

  • A tree trimming project will take place Aug. 5-9 on Route 206 between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. State Road will be closed to through traffic and message boards and detours will be in place. 
  • Moore Street will be closed between Franklin Avenue and Houghton Street on Monday, Aug. 5 and Tuesday, Aug. 6 between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., weather permitting. 
  • River Road between Herrontown Road and the Montgomery border will be closed to through traffic for utility work Monday-Friday between 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. 
  • Herrontown Road is closed between Snowden Lane and Bunn Drive.
  • Snowden Lane is closed between Franklin Avenue and Hamilton Avenue.
  • Route 206 between Ewing Street and Cherry Hill Road will be closed to car and small truck traffic Monday-Friday between 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., weather permitting. 
  • Alexander Street will remain closed to through traffic from College Road to University Place through Sunday, Aug. 18; it will re-open on Monday, Aug. 19.
  • Moore Street will be closed between Houghton and Hawthorne on Wednesday, Aug. 7, Thursday, Aug. 8 and Friday, Aug. 9, weather permitting.
