Snow Hits Princeton, Thousands Without Power

Slushy, wet snow Came to town on Saturday, downing tree branches, causing spinouts and power outages.

It's Oct. 29. Halloween is still two days away. And yet there is snow falling in Princeton, as well as across much of New Jersey.

And we don't mean a few flurries - we're talking real snow flakes, in quantity and quality that you would think we were well into winter.

Heavy wet snow covered most of Princeton by Saturday evening, causing cars to skid on slipperty roads and there were downed branches throughout town, especially towards the north end of town towards Montgomery Township.
