Princeton Patch Weekend Guide

Friday

 will hold a Seuss Celebration at 10:30 a.m. Children 2 years and older will hear some classic Seuss stories and then sing “Happy Birthday” to a very special guest, the Cat in the Hat.

Mercer County Community College presents in the Kelsey Theatre, 1200 Old Trenton Road, West Windsor, 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $16 for adults, $14 for seniors and $12 for children and students.  

 

Saturday

The Special Education PTO of the Princeton Public Schools will host an Education Symposium at . Workshops include "How to Help Students Struggling with Anxiety, The Parent as Advocate-How to Manage Your Child’s IEP. Attend one or both seminars. 8:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. Free. 

 invites visitor to a  between 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. All ages welcome; no tickets or reservations are needed, Free. 

and the Princeton Chinese Language School will host a Chinese New Year Celebration at the . All ages are welcome- events will include Chinese paper-folding, painting, calligraphy, a Lion Dance, Chinese Yo-Yo and a Taichi Gong Fu Fan program. 2-4 p.m., Free.

 will host Dr. Nancy Kehoe, a Stuart board member, psychologist and author of 4 p.m., Free.

Princeton Presbyterian Church will a production featuring actor . Payne's performance will feature Lewis giving an informal talk to a group of American writers who are visiting England, 7 p.m., $20.

The trio of jazz vocalist and composer Kadri Voorand, guitarist Virgo Sillamaa and bassist Taavo Remmel will perform "Improvisations on Estonian Poetry" at 3 p.m., , Taplin Auditorium, Fine Hall. 3 p.m., Free. 

students will host a day of films with with gay, bisexual, lesbian, transgender and queer themes at  beginning at 11 a.m. T.J. Parsell, a writer and human rights activist will give a keynote address at 1 p.m.
