New Temporary Dinky Station Opens Monday, Aug. 26

The last day of the old station will be on Friday, Aug. 23.

The Princeton Dinky Station will open in a new temporary location on Monday, Aug. 26.

The station will be accessible via Alexander Street.  

To prepare for the shift from the University Place to Alexander Street station, rail service to University Place will end on Aug. 23, and riders will be serviced by NJ TRANSIT buses Aug. 24 and 25.

On Aug. 16, the citizens' group Save the Dinky, Inc. filed an emergency application with the NJ Department of Environmental Protection, asking for a temporary stay in the dismantling of the Dinky train station.
