Saturday

Bring your dog for a dip in the pool!

Cutter’s Mill Pet Store is hosting a free Poochie Pool Party from 1-4 p.m. at the Princeton Shopping Center, 301 N Harrison Street, Princeton (in the courtyard).

The Pool Party for Dogs will feature three separate areas, based on size of dog, set up with pools and toys. Owners are allowed too!

Sunday

Sunday Stories at the , 65 Witherspoon St, Princeton, 3:30 p.m. The free event fatures stories and songs for children ages 2-8 and their families. Grown-ups must attend.

 

Bring a lawn chair and enjoy a free concert by The Bushwackers Drum and Bugle Corps  4-6 p.m. at , 12 Valley Rd, Princeton, (rain location: Suzanne Paterson Center, 45 Stockton Street, behind Borough Hall)

The concert is in honor of Valley Road School and sponosred by the Valley Road School-Adaptive Reuse Committee (VRS-ARC) and Valley Road Community Center, Inc. (VRSCCI).

The Bushwackers are six-time DCA World Champions, a 60-member all-age drum and bugle corps made up of brass, percussion and color guard. They are also known for their blue and magenta uniforms and modified cowboy hats and gloves. 

Parking Locations: Community Park Tennis Courts, Community Park North - Rt. 206 & Mountain Ave. - just cross at light, Police Dept. Exit Off Rt. 206 - Behind Recreation Dept. 

VRSCCI is a non-profit that wants to convert the former Valley Road School into office and performing space for area nonprofit organizations.
