  3. Children are invited to make Paper Snowflakes at the Youth Services Department, 11 a.m., Free. 
  4. Presents
    Local writers Helene van Rossum and Sara Wegman, will use historical maps, image and shadow puppets to recreate Washington’s “Ten Crucial Days” that changed America’s history. Participants 8 and older will go home with instructions and cutouts to make their own shadow puppets of George and Martha Washington. Participants must register online here. 3 p.m., Free 
  5. Today will be sunny with a high near 47 degrees with wind gusts as high as 29 mph. Overnight there will be increasing clouds with a low around 28 degrees.
