Artists’ reception for Garden State Watercolor Society’s 2014 juried exhibition, “Seasonal Splendors”.  The artists’ reception takes place Friday, July 11 from 6 to 8 p.m.  To reserve, rsvp@drgreenway.org.  D&R Greenway is at One Preservation Place, Princeton 08540, off Rosedale Road.

 

Awards. chosen by juror/instructor, Suzanne Baron given to Joanne Amantea, Edward Bauman, Fran Franklin, Jinnie May, Frank Perry, Dallas Piotrowski, Isabella Pizanno, Donna Read, Sheila Redford, Lois Sanders, Ann C. Taylor, Zina Uman, and Peter Zdenek. 

 

“Seasonal Splendors”  available business hours of business days through Friday, August 8.  All art for sale, percentage supporting land trust’s preservation and stewardship. 

 

 

D&R Greenway CEO & President, Linda Mead, states, “It’s always both honor and pleasure to fill our Marie L. Matthews Galleries with the varied masterpieces of the Garden State Watercolor Society.  This diverse group’s wide range of subject matter and techniques highlights the depth of talent and the breadth of natural beauty in this, the Garden State.”  D&R Greenway is celebrating its 25th year of preservation of New Jersey open space and farmland.

 

This show’s 92 works by 50 Signature Members celebrates nature’s variety and magnificence in all seasons.  Unique to this GSWS exhibition is a multiplicity of mediums beyond watercolor, including oils, pastel and acrylic.  Art ranges from the realistic to the abstract, from soft to vivid, from noon to midnight.
