Princeton, NJ -- Princeton Human Services once again had a successful book bag drive this year thanks to the many donors who contributed to its success. This year, the department distributed book bags stuffed with school supplies to approximately 150 kids entering K- 6 grades and attending Princeton schools.
The department would like to thank the Rotary Club, the Princeton Police Department, the PBA, and Christine’s Hope for Kids for their support and contributions to the book bag drive and to those who made individual donations.
Jose Rodas, a Princeton High School student who is entering the 11thgrade, worked on this project for the summer and was a key person in the success of the program. Jose worked on the advertisement of the drive, receiving donations, stuffing book bags, and coordinating the distribution of the book bags.
The department looks forward to continue the book bag drive next year and provide this service to the Princeton families. For more information on how to sign up or make a donation for next year, please contact the Human Services office at 609-688-2055.
