PRINCETON DAY SCHOOL WELCOMES COMEDY GROUP BABY WANTS CANDY, 4/19
On April 19, the popular improvisational comedy group Baby Wants Candy will perform a 2-hour show for the community at the McAneny Theater at Princeton Day School.
Baby Wants Candy is hailed as one of the leading improv groups in the country, and has played to sold out audiences in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Edinburgh. Past Baby Wants Candy company members include Saturday Night Live alums Seth Meyers and Rachel Dratch. The company is currently in residence at Princeton University, creating a new immersive musical. Additionally, their new show 50 Shades! The Musical, received wonderful reviews in the national press.
Princeton Day School Director Stan Cahill, who organized the performance, remarked “During the first act, members of the company will work with PDS students on stage; for Act 2, the company will perform a completely improvised musical. In addition, PDS alum Meg Reilly will perform with the troupe.”
Proceeds from this performance will help send PDS theater students to Edinburgh for the Fringe Festival this summer.
