"There is tremendous value" notes Jeff Hoagland, "in engaging with water in its most elemental form, such as a local stream. This evening program is part magic and part science. It is the perfect opportunity to discover the value of clean water, not just for ourselves but for other beings as well. In the Stony Brook these beings can include great blue herons, pumpkinseed sunfish, painted turtles, muskrats, whirligig beetles and many others."
