MCCC Invites Community to "Open House and Ease of Transfer Information Session" Nov. 14

Mercer County Community College’s Board of Trustees invites the community to an “Open House and Ease of Transfer Information Session” on Thursday, Nov. 14 at the Conference Center on the college’s West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.  Prospective students of all ages will learn how Mercer can help them meet their educational goals at an affordable cost.  Parents, alumni, community partners, teachers, guidance counselors, government representatives, and all who are interested in educational opportunities are encouraged to attend.

The Open House starts at 4:30 p.m. and continues until 6:30 p.m.  Representatives from MCCC’s Academic Programs, Student Activities Office, Academic Advisement, Financial Aid, Study Abroad, Honors Program, NJSTARS Scholarship Program, Athletics, the University Center at Mercer, and Continuing Education will be on hand to provide information and answer questions.  Refreshments will be prepared by MCCC culinary students from both campuses, as well as the staff of the Conference Center.

During a brief presentation at 5:30, the MCCC Board of Trustees will honor several community leaders for their support of education. Copies of the college’s 2012-13 Annual Report and Foundation Annual Report, which detail the successes of the past year, will be available.
