Adam and Tim have been traveling the country since the release of their book and they love to share their message with audiences about how to run faster and get more out of life. During their one-hour presentation, Adam and Tim will share their passion for running and how to live better.  Their talk is for anyone looking to find a healthy balance in their life and features a mixture of Motivation, Education, Entertainment, and Inspiration or as they like to call it: “Mo-Edu-Tain-Spiration!”

Adam Groucher has won eight individual USA championships and qualified for the finals in the World Championships seven times. In 2000, Adam represented the United States in the Sydney Olympic Games. Tim Catalano was a highly recruited distance runner out of high school who went on to run varsity track and cross country for the storied University of Colorado athletic program. While there he helped the team earn 4th and 2nd place finishes nationally. These experiences had a transformative influence on him that sparked a life-long interest in the power of experience in shaping the individual.

”Being a runner is truly a gift. Runners have access to a world and a set of life lessons that can transform every aspect of their lives. We want to tap into that runner’s world and harness the transformative power found in the distance run. We want to use running as a teacher, motivator, and compelling force of positive change in our lives”, said Adam.  It is this common interest and focus that has kept Adam and Tim connected all these years. This one topic of conversation has run non-stop for almost two decades. “We have uncovered far more questions than answers. Neither of us believes we have discovered the path to enlightenment or perfect running bliss. What we have done is put together a philosophy as unique as our friendship. We are happy to share it with you and any other runner who wishes to discover the secrets to better running and a better life”, he said.

This event will kick-off the YMCA’s spring Open House Week. Beginning March 22, the Y will open its doors to the community, inviting non-members to visit the facility, try classes and enjoy a variety of FREE special workshops to support healthy living.  All Running the Edge event attendees will be entered to win over 25 door prize items courtesy of Adam and Tim, the Princeton Running Company, and Bee Fit with Tracy.  Adam and Tim will also be selling autographed copies of their book, Running the Edge, for $10.  This event is free and open to the public but registration is required as seating is limited.  Please email rsvp@princetonymca.org to reserve your seats today and to be entered to win one of many giveaways!
