S.A.V.E. Breaks Ground on New Animal Shelter in Montgomery
There's lots to do in and around Princeton today.
SAVE hosts a Groundbreaking Ceremony at the James Van Zandt house, 1010 Route 601, Blawenburg. The Van Zandt house houses SAVE's administrative offices and the groundbreaking will be for a new animal shelter next door, 3 p.m.
MarketFair will celebrate its recent renovations with a mall-wide fashion show, tarot card readings, and store specials and giveaways. The first 150 registered attendees will receive swag bags, 5 p.m.
Princeton-area high schoolers are invited to the Corner House Annual All-City Dodgeball Tournament. Prizes, a trophy and bragging rights are up for the taking. Princeton High School, 6 p.m.
Princeton Symphony Orchestra will host its Fall Musicale at a private home in Princeton- featuring The Lark Quartet. Cocktails and canapes. Register, 6:30 p.m.
Bryan Bowers, master of the autoharp, returns to the Princeton Folk Music Society. He specializes in old-fashioned folk music rooted in the Appalachian tradition which he plays on the autoharp accompanied by rich vocals and entertaining stories. Christ Congregation Church, 8:15 p.m.
