Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of 'Fiddler on the Roof'

Princeton Farmer's Market at Hinds Plaza, next to the Princeton Public Library, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Marc Boutavant, the award-winning French author and illustrator of the bestselling picture book Around the World with Mouk and the popular Ariol comic strip will present his latest books: Ghosts and Ariol: Happy as a Pig. Book sales and signing will follow. Princeton Public Library, Story Room, 3rd floor, 5 p.m. 

Morven Museum & Garden hosts an opening reception its exhibit for 'The Age of Sail: A New Jersey Collection' featuring a collection of maritime artifacts and art assembled by Richard Updike. This exhibit, featuring over 100 objects, explores the history of American shipbuilding, sail-making, naval warfare, shipwrecks and rescue, daily life of sailors and more. 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Princeton University's Lewis Center for the Arts celebrates 'Fiddler at Fifty' to recognize the 50th anniversary of 'Fiddler on the Roof.' Film screening and post film discussion. 185 Nassau Street, 7 p.m.
