 em. This talk will explore the underlying intentions of the Waldorf curr
 iculum in the middle school years as well as give concrete examples of t
 he ways in which these are carried out.\nElan&nbsp\;Leibner was a class 
 teacher at the Waldorf School of Princeton for eighteen years. He subseq
 uently directed a teacher education program at Emerson College\, UK\, be
 fore returning to the US and serving as a mentor and teacher educator th
 roughout the country. He is the editor of the Research Bulletin for Wald
 orf Education and a member of the Pedagogical Section Council.
