DESCRIPTION:CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is seeking volunteer
 s who have a few hours a month to help make a difference in the life of 
 a foster child. &nbsp\;CASA for Children of Mercer County is a non-profi
 t organization committed to speaking up in court for the best interests 
 of children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse and negl
 ect. &nbsp\;\nCASA Volunteers should be at least 21 years of age\, able 
 to communicate effectively and pass National\, State and Local backgroun
 d checks as well as sex offender and child abuse registry checks. &nbsp\
 ;Volunteers are asked to be able to complete approximately 30 hours of t
 raining. &nbsp\;There are training sessions scheduled to begin in Octobe
 r\, 2012. &nbsp\;\nIf you would like to attend our information session p
