'Bully Society' Author to Speak
Jessie Klein, author of the widely discussed new book “Bully Society,” will discuss her research into school violence at a 10 a.m. service at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton.
The special Memorial Day service will will also include reflections by members of the Congregation’s youth group, who have studied the book.
Jessie Klein is an assistant professor of sociology/criminal justice at Adelphi University. Her book looks at the causes of school violence, from common bullying to shooting rampages and the rise in adolescent depression and suicide.
The special 10 a.m. Memorial Day service marks the start of the one-service summer schedule.
