Jane Goodall is best known for her study of social interactions with wild chimpanzees in the Gombe Stream National Park in what is now called Tanzania. She’s a British ethologist, primatologist, and anthropologist, which basically means she studies animal, primate and human behavior. Ms. Goodall’s groundbreaking behavioral study changed the scientific community and redefined our understanding of animals.
On Monday, January 16th, SmartTalk presents Jane Goodall at the State Theatre in New Brunswick, NJ for an evening of conversation, and a chance to get a glimpse into her world. She’ll share stories from the early days in Tanzania to the latest news in the field. She is the founder of the Jane Goodall Institute, a UN Messenger of Peace, and a Dame of the British Empire. It’s no wonder that National Geographic has featured her in their magazine and on film since the early 1960s.
When you do nothing, you feel overwhelmed and powerless. But when you get involved, you feel the sense of hope and accomplishment that comes from knowing you are working to make things better. ~ Author Unknown
I remember growing up hearing fascinating stories about her, but what I didn’t know is she had no formal education. She didn’t study at a university or have prior field experience, yet she was able to do what no other human had done before.
Tickets can still be purchased for this inspirational show. I just spotted source code KV12 for a 20% discount, so I thought I’d pass that on to you. I have my ticket, so I hope to see you there!

Robin, thank you so much for writing about this! My 9-year old is a huge Jane Goodall fan. We cannot wait to surprise her with tickets to the show.
I just called the state theater. They are not aware of a 20% discount for using code KV12. They said KV12 is a source code, but if I tell them where I received that information they will honor it. So where did you find that code? Thanks!

Jacquelyn, I hope to see you there! I saw the promo code at Mercer County Woman who is a sponsor of SmartTalk. If that doesn't work, I also saw the source code 'Santa' for 20% off directly from SmartTalk on Twitter and Facebook. Good luck!
