Trinity Church Rummage Sale is This Weekend

The sale preview is on Friday night for $10.

Love to bargain shop and give back to the community at the same time?

Whether you need a gently used pair of loafers, clothes, housewares, furniture, toys, electronics, or linens, Trinity Church's 42nd Annual Rummage Sale should have something for everyone this weekend.

A preview of dresses will take place on Friday night from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Admission is $10.

On Saturday, admission is free and doors will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Trinity Church is located at 33 Mercer Street.

The rummage sale, held twice a year, typically raises thousands of dollars for the church's operating budget, which in turn funds local charitable organizations.

The lure of a great bargain draws shoppers to Princeton from as far away as Delaware and Virginia and people have lined up as early as 6 a.m. on Saturday in years past to guarantee first entry inside.

More than 100 church volunteers work for months behind the scenes helping to organize donations. During the sale, volunteers are stationed throughout the three-story parish hall to help shoppers navigate.

A really important piece of info here is that the Friday night preview is to see the dresses only, not the entire stock of stuff on sale. If you want anything else besides dresses, you should come on Saturday.
