Three-Car Crash Yields DWI, Reckless Driving Charges
Philadelphia man charged after police said his car struck two others on Mercer Road, injuring another driver.
Rodney Andrews, 34, of Philadelphia, Pa. was charged with drunken driving, driving with a suspended license, failure to keep right, reckless driving and disorderly persons offenses after police responded to a collision on Mercer Road at 11:36 p.m. on Wednesday Nov. 30.
Princeton Township Police and the Princeton First Aid and Rescue Squad responded to a report of a collision near Quaker Road. Police said three vehicles were in the soutbound lane of Mercer Road on Stonybrook Bridge and the drivers were standing outside of their cars.
PFARS took the driver of the third car, Juan Rodriguez Jr., of Trenton, to a hospital for treatment after complaints of back pain.

All vehicles were damaged, and the Honda driven by Andrews and the Mazda driven by Rodriguez were both towed from the scene by Kovi Towing.
Police said Andrews was found to be intoxicated. Police said the investigation also revealed that Andrews' car had crossed over the double yellow line, striking the two other vehicles.

He was taken to police headquarters for processing and later released to a relative, police said.
