Super Bowl Ad Teasers: Which One Will Be Your Fave?

Already a handful of ads are getting a lot of attention.

The Super Bowl XLVI will  not be broadcast until Sunday, Feb. 5, but already fans are speculating about what might be the best big game commercials.

One ad already getting a lot of buzz is titled "Bueller, Bueller" that has Matthew Broderick reprising his role as Ferris Bueller for Honda. Get a 10-second sneak peek by going here.

Another ad getting attention has been dubbed "The Dark Side" and features dogs barking out a pitch for Volkswagen. Elton John also will appear in a much-anticipated Pepsi ad during the Super Bowl alongside “X Factor” winner Melanie Amaro.

Meanwhile, Coke plans to roll out something completely different. By going here, you can watch the animated polar bears react to the Super Bowl itself, the ads, and even the halftime show. In addition, there will be some Coke executives on the air talking about which of two different commerials they should air.

Ads this year are expected to be longer with one for Audi scheduled to last a full 60 seconds.

And they are expected to make better use of smartphones and other technology by encouraging viewers to use their phones and iPads to make purchases and even to enter contests during the game.

This year, a 30-second commercial slot will cost businesses $3.5 million on average, compared with $3 million last year.

This year's Super Bowl will take place in Indianapolis, with the New York Giants and New England Patriots both hoping to win the National Football League Championship. An expected 100 million people are expected to view the game, which is among a falling number of TV events that are still able to attract massive audiences.

Let us know what you think are the best ads in the comments section below. For a look at some of the ads, go here.

I like the dogs barking the Darth Vader theme, and the Ferris Bueller commercials best.

The Matthew Broderick sell out ad is just horrid. They should have had him in Chicago shooting Ferris Bueller 2, and he takes a day off. Not bland LA at a hotel where its clearly a rental car. Its just so very saccharin.

I think showing him shooting Ferris Bueller 2 in Chicago would've been too predictable. They're showing him now as an adult who has moved on, doing Tai Chi on an LA beach, yet spoofing himself for the fun of it. Sure it's a rental car since he's in a hotel, but Honda's goal is to use nostalgia to get in the front door, and the portray the CRV as a fun car. It didn't work for you, but it did for me. It might've been targeting females anyway. Did you like the dogs barking the Darth Vader theme, the Polar Bears, or any other commercials?

I really like the VW kid using the force spot from last year. The dogs barking is said to be a set up for the real spot, which I'm excited about.
And maybe I'm jaded as I've seen Broderick ride his bike in New York many times... and that movie was a favorite of mine. And with John Hughes dead, it just seems like a sell out. Was also sort of sad that he was alone. The film was a celebration of becoming an adult, and playing grown up with friends. This just seemed sad. A high paid actor calls in sick to to bet on horses. Not exactly staring at art. I know I've totally over thought this ;)

Analyzing the commercial, I can see how they missed an opportunity to pay homage to John Hughes, who I'm a BIG fan of. It is bland, but it's nostalgic. I was actually expecting his boss to chase him at on point, and it would been great if he met up with "Cameron" and "Sloane" at one point, but it still made me feel warm and fuzzy.

Now, if those barking dogs are indeed a set up to the kid as Darth Vader, I'll flip out!

I just watched the Ferris Bueller one and yeah, I think maybe it is geared to women and especially those who grew up with Ferris. I heard the music and immediately loved it, just for the nostalgia.

Greta, the more I think about it, the more I feel it was made to appeal to the female audience. You're right about the music. As soon as I heard it, I had a flashback of the first time I saw it.
