Sikh Community to Hold Interfaith Vigil Wednesday Night
The vigil is part of a nationwide remembrance for the victims of the Wisconsin shooting.
More than 100 attended a vigil service at Sri Guru Singh Sabah Sikh Temple in Glen Rock, NJ on Sunday night. Speakers said they will not be scared to pray at their house in worship despite the tragic shooting at a Wisconsin church on Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012.

The Sikh community will hold an interfaith vigil on Wednesday Aug. 8 as part of a nationwide remembrance for the victims of the Oak Creek, Wisconsin Sikh Gurdwara shooting.
A special prayer service is being held at Sikh Sabha of NJ Gurdwara in Lawrenceville. The service will be followed by a candlelight vigil.
The program:
7-8 p.m.- religious service
8-8:30 p.m.- tributes by Lawrence Township Mayor Jim Kownacki, NJ Assemblyman Daniel R. Benson and community member Jaspreet Singh
8:30– 9:15 p.m. – candlelight vigil
9:15pm – Langar (community kitchen)
