Anyone know if there are food vendors or if we should bring our own picnic?

I don't recall there being food vendors. Most everyone just brings a picnic and sits out on the grass.

Brian, I don't think there will be fireworks in the immediate area on the 4th. It's much more expensive to have them on that day. You'll have to go to New York (and maybe Philly). Tip: You can go to Hoboken or Weehawken to view NY's display from the Jersey side.
