Tuesday's primary will help shape the field of candidates in preparation for November elections, when voters will decide who will lead Princeton effective Jan. 1, 2013 when Princeton Borough and Princeton Township merge.
There are several important and contested races in Princeton. Click the blue links to read more about each candidate.
- Democrats Liz Lempert and Kevin Wilkes will square off for nomination for Mayor. The winner will face Republican Dick Woodbridge in November
- Nine candidates are vying for six Democratic nominations for Council.
- Democrats Sue Nemeth of Princeton and Marie Corfield of Flemington face each other for the nomination for NJ Assembly District 16. The winner will face Republican Donna Simon in November.
