Police Blotter: Shoplifting, DWI, Drug Possession

The following incidents were reported by Princeton Borough Police between Sept. 30 and Oct. 5.

 

On Sept. 30 at 5:11 a.m., police saw a man sleeping in his car on Mercer Street and the man was subsequently found to be in possession of marijuana and a marijuana pipe. 

Nicholas Walthery, 24, of Old Westbury, NY was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released and was scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 8.

On Oct. 4 at 3:23 p.m., police responded to Morning Glory at 20 Nassau Street for a report of shoplifting. An investigation revealed that an individual shoplifted $28.96 worth of merchandise.

Police arrested Hannah Zhong Yue, 20, of Pennington and charged her with shoplifting. 

Yue was released and scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 15.

 

On Oct. 5 at 12:43 a.m., police responded to an accident at the intersection of Nassau and Stockton Street. 

As a result, police arrested Shane Mazar, 21, of Tabernacle and charged him with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated in a school zone, reckless driving and driving with an expired New Jersey registration. 

Mazar was released and is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 15.
