Einstein was born on March 14th, the numeric equivalent of Pi.  For more than 20 years, Einstein lived in Princeton, home to some of the world's most respected mathematicians.

On Pi Day, Princeton celebrates Albert's birthday and all the genius residents of the famous Ivy League town with lots of fun events for all ages. Anchored at the Princeton Public Library, the three-day weekend will include a pie eating contest, pie judging contests,  pie throwing, Rubik’s cube demonstrations, reenactor tours of Einstein's favorite hangouts - including his hairdresser's house and even dinky train rides with Einstein.

There will also be competitions for kids in which the winner receives $314.15: a violin contest for ages 3 to 6, Einstein look-alike contest, pie eating contest, Pi recitation contest and video contest. No advanced registration is necessary.

Princeton merchants also join in the fun by pricing items at $3.14 and will host entertaining events. And, don't be surprised if the entire wait staff of many establishments dress-up like the world's most lovable genius. Pi Day Princeton owner Mimi Omiecinski claims "Pi Day Princeton is just another love story in Princeton.  All the merchants, non-profits, academic institutions and businesses come together to offer the world another 'quintessentially Princeton' experience."
