Broadway Tenors Coming to Princeton in PSO’s POPS! Concert

The concert is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 11.

The Princeton Symphony Orchestra will presents its annual Broadway POPS! concert at Princeton University's Richardson Auditorium on Saturday, Feb. 11 at 8 p.m.

This year’s show, The Broadway Tenors, offers an evening of music written for the Broadway stage—including hit numbers from West Side Story, Chicago, The Phantom of the Opera and Guys and Dolls. PSO Music Director Rossen Milanov will lead the performance.

The performance will present the complete Broadway experience—joys, sorrows and romance—played out by three of Broadway tenors: Brent Barrett, Ron Bohmer and Matt Cavenaugh.

A founding member and producer of The Broadway Tenors, Brent Barrett sings the leading role of Billy Flynn in the Tony Award-winning musical Chicago. He returns to Princeton after his performance in last year’s Broadway POPS! concert.

Ron Bohmer has played starring roles in Broadway productions of The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, The Fiddler on the Roof and A Little Night Music.

Completing the trio is Matt Cavenaugh, who most recently starred on Broadway as “Tony” in West Side Story.

The three tenors combine to create a kaleidoscope of harmonies, splashed with a good dose of humor, in this musical theatre program.
