Princeton High School Science Bowl Team Places Seventh Nationally

The Princeton High School Science Bowl team placed seventh in the national competition out of 69 regional high school teams and first in its round-robin division challenge.

The awards included $1,000 and $500 respectively in prize money.


Captain Sadik Shahidain, Sasha Chhabra, Yiuval Wigderson, Katherine Huang, and Enric Boix, scored the best of any first time team at the Nationals.  Coaches Tim Anderson and Andrea Panagakis accompanied the team to the competition in Washington, D.C.


Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy, the National Science Bowl, which was held this year on April 26 -30, in Washington, D.C., is a fast-paced “Jeopardy-style” competition that tests students' knowledge in all areas of science.
